BUT, tough as the competition around here is, people have yet again found a way to give me a real headache: Iceman - Doom They don't jump to Icebeam anymore, what they do is call Doom and Icebeam from the ground. I'd really like to own this team with Strider-Doom, but I can't use the teleport against someone backed up by circling rocks. help again, anyone? Make sure you do it in the air cause then you can do it again by jumping up again. OR just use the same thing they use. Theres not skill need for that. OR..Just jump over the ICEBEAM and charge at Iceman as much as you can..OR snapback Doom and whoop his ass for there. His AAA isn't really AAA, it starts hitting low, which is why it beats commado AAA. -Micah Posted by Iceman on 01:03:2001 01:53 AM: Try having Outboros going when you teleport also. Block on your way down after you teleport. Call AAA. Something should go through Doom, be it your AAA, or an outboro. A runaway storm is good for that. Blackheart will get rid of doom and leave iceman blocking. The only problem is that his iceman might hit you bh. Posted by Mr. E on 01:24:2001 07:10 AM: if you're using Strider/Doom/? (you said spiral, bh or Capcom right?) call out ourrobos before teleporting. This should hit doom out of his assist and force iceman to block. Call doom for chip (Iceman get's chipped by doom's rocks right?), and just keep the trap going. If you start spiral, get spiral doom going. If he calls out doom and icecreams, just teleport over and over to waste time until the doom rocks go away. Storm's a good character to use since her horizontal hurricane will go through both the rocks and the ice beam, and if they don't protect right, you can cancel into hailstorm super. If all they're doing is cheezy chip like this, I recommend using Mag's/Storm runaway, airdash in tactics. Iceman's got some frustrating tricks, but strip him down, and he's not THAT good. He's extremely limited, and takes major damage. Posted by Who on 01:25:2001 12:37 AM: Two words: CHIP DAMAGE!!! Super jump to get away from Doom's annoying rocks. This forces him to either jump of dash the other way to get away from you. Don't forget that Strider has a double jump. Use his double jump to change directions when he runs. Also the double jump is good when assisting. Double jump over your opponents head and bring out Doom and his anti air assist. Iceman will have to block it. Doom's anti air assist takes off good block damage on Iceman (or anyone). Strider also builds the super meter very fast. So once you've built up to even two supers you can never run out. When using your supers: first throw a couple panthers in front of you then do the orb super. Teleport behind or double jump over your opponent then bring out Doom's assist. This together will take off alot of block damage. Don't forget to attack while doing this. Also don't forget about Strider's GUARD BREAK!!!!! All times are GMT. The time now is 12:52 AM.
